"Three... thousand and... fifty-four..." Charles breathed out before it left him in a laugh, looking up to the dome above them with those bright eyes. Yes, there was distress, a great deal of it, but it was small in face of pure, good old human raw curiosity. It was clear he had no idea what Jack was actually talking about but what did it matter? He bent to brush his fingers through grass like no grass on Earth, plucking a single piece of it and twirling it between his fingers.
