Who: Someone new...ish. Maybe other Torchwood members.
When: Several years later.
What: Some people still don't know when to play by the rules.
Misc. OOC: Feel free to ignore this. I was just reading through old posts (fun times!) and this idea wouldn't leave my brain. :P

It's 12:30pm on a Tuesday, and there is a young woman in the chip shop across the street from Torchwood's secret entrance. She's rather overdressed for this time of day, wearing a tailored black dress and dark red heels. The worn black leather biker jacket she has thrown over it all only serves to put her further out of place. It seems like she should be out clubbing in London on the weekend, not here.

Nonetheless, she's taken over Jack's corner in the shop, sipping not-so-daintily on a chocolate milkshake and munching on fries. Lucas should be out on a mission with Jim today- an unfortunate confluence of events for the both of them- but maybe someone will still show up? Regardless, she's putting it all on Torchwood's tab. It's nice to take a walk on memory lane, anyway.

She ignores the occasional discerning stare she gets from shop owner and instead plays with her newly-stolen phone. If only she learned how to hack. It would've been nice to know if her arrival set off any pings in Torchwood.

Who: Gabriel, Jack and Ginny (A/B/O)
When: After Gabriel (Original) and Mohinder (Original) get married
What: Babies had by immortal Alphas and Evo Omegas are bound to be at least a little trouble.

It was the third time that Jack checked his watch. It wasn't that they had any particular where or when to be, Jim was handling their Hub just fine, but Ginny needed her bottle at very exacting intervals or terrible things often happened. It wasn't her fault. She was just an infant with two over protective and special parents and she didn't realize that her tantrums were tantamount to the fiery gates of hell opening (which they hadn't done since Henry and Mitchell managed to properly seal the hell mouth in London three weeks prior). All she knew what that she was hungry.

And therefore, someone had to play.

With this universe's Sasan cooing over her, and three men with faces that matched his mate's huddled around trying to get her attention, Jack knew that he was playing a very dangerous game here. But how often did they get to this universe? When would they be here next? Babies were very few and far between at any Torchwood. And most of these people had no idea what a little terror laid in wait behind such innocent brown eyes?

It was a good thing, Jack thought as he was joined by his counterpart, both in their greatcoats, both with the same expression, that Ginny didn't have Gabriel's banshee ability. She was scary enough when she screamed without actual ear drums bursting. "I might steal your daughter," the other Jack said, and the father of said daughter just laughed.

"You can in about ten minutes," he said, glancing again at his watch.

Who: Gabriel and Mohinder (Original)
When: After Sylar let Mohinder live. It was a big deal.
What: Putting off the wedding thing isn't good for anyone.

No one was dead. No one. Not a single person. The Sylar that had proven that he was invincible and more powerful than any other creature in the universe had dropped by to say hello, roll his eyes, flex his telekinetic muscles, and then didn't kill anyone. That was more miracle than Mohinder was really willing to let himself believe in, but it had happened and was on the security footage. Jack made them all watch it twice. Probably for punishment. And also to keep any of the Gabriels or former Gabriels from getting any big ideas about relatiation.

Four days passed from their near death experience. Mitchell and Henry had been brought back home, one traumatized inwardly and the other locked away. Most of Norfinbury had been tucked away. Some where put where they could be forgotten about. Some were given class-A amnesiacs and put back into society in this particular port in the space-time Storm. It would take many weeks and months to find places for the rest of them though Fred and Kaylee were working tirelessly to do just that.

Gabriel's clone was one of the only casualties from that world to have been sent off to try his hand at living a life with too many memories of loves lost and powers had to try and find love again. And now that he was gone and Mohinder could stop the guilt he felt being around him, he thought he would broach the subject of the wedding.

He brought Gabriel a glass of red wine as if they were Sasan-level classy and joined in on the couch just recently vacated by the double of the person sitting with him. He brought him a binder that he and Sasan had been putting together too, a sort of idea book.

"Sasan says that people still do this without Pintrest," Mohinder said. "And I would like to trade up to a wedding band."

Who: Sylar and Bug
When: After Sylar let Mohinder live. It was a big deal.
What: Sylar is feeling some sort of way

The first two trips after Sylar picked his Bug back up from Torchwood were bland and formulaic. They landed somewhere boring. Sylar got them into some trouble. They escaped. There was nothing even vaguely romantic about it. Sylar kept Mohinder at a sizable distance, but he did make sure he was never put into too much danger.

All of this mess because of Torchwood. He was angry that he had grown silent for a tantruming brat who was never silent, that said a lot. All he had wanted to do was get drinks on a beach with his Bug but then they ruined everything. Technically he couldn't blame Jack for any of this but he couldn't help himself. Mohinder was the one in love. Jack had nothing to do with that.

It was just easier to blame him.

The third trip was different almost immediately. Sylar crossed his arms over his chest as he glanced around what looked like some sort of fandom convention. People in all types of clothing from all eras were mingling and drinking cordials... But there was something decidedly strange about it.

"Huh. Reality smash. Wow. I thought these things stopped existing when we fixed the rift two hundred years ago. Awesome. More universe collapse syndrome at its finest."

Who: Jack, Fred, Gabriel, Lucas, the residents of Norfinbury Session 305 (Sherlock, Bucky, Steve, Cecil, Al) and Torchwood.
When: After Jim, Gabriel and Fred save the clones of Norfinbury from the Admin
What: Bringing everyone home for quarantine

The Admin was not completely gone, but the program was running in the background, piggybacking off of Fred's genius hacking skills and Torchwood's seemingly endless power supply. She was being forced to keep the lighting on in the dank underground maze of tunnels where her servers had been kept, forced to keep a lock down on the spiders (who no longer had any role to play now that they were finished emptying supply hoppers to the residents of this hell world experimental facility as they slowly converged on the spot), and forced to stay silent. She was not thrilled about that, and it came out every once in while across the network as she begged to be allowed to continue her work.

Wisely, she was being ignored.

The tunnels were lined in concrete, cold to the touch but no where near as bitterly chilled as the world above was. Jack Harkness, who had easily taken over as leader even from those that had played at being leader before, had diverted as much power as he could to heating the place up even as he directed those that had been nearby during the initial shut down phase of the Admin to help shore up some of the cracks along the way. By the time the bulk of Norfinbury could arrive, there were already places for them to rest in makeshift cubbies between hung curtains and blankets and things for them to eat too, fresh and warm and delivered by one of the Torchwood Agents who had control of the technology to ferry citizens from hell to what was supposedly salvation.

But the evacuation was slow. A vortex manipulator could take five or six people out of these tunnels at once, but there needed to be a rest period for the devices to power up again. People were ferried away. Pizza or Chinese or Thai was brought back. But Jack could already sense that there was some dissension starting.

He didn't blame the people here for being scared and for not trusting the newcomers, even as they offered melted cheese and warmth. There were whispers in groups that Jack Harkness was keeping information from them. And he was. Not everyone could handle, right this moment, what the truth of their situation was. He didn't even keep that a secret. Nor did he try to quell any potential uprising...

He simply had those making the most noise be taken first back to Torchwood.

At the moment, twenty or so odd people had already been removed from Norfinbury over the last few days. Of his team here with him, Jim and Gabriel did most of the leg work. Both had just arrived with fresh water when a group of cold and tired people arrived at the entry to their tunnels. Fred told Jack who they were and Jack nodded, going out to meet them with a smile and some hot, sweet coffee in metal thermoses.

Who: Jack and Lucas
When: A few months after the whole Jack Swap debacle.
What: Routine Torchwood mission. Jokes, tragedy, ridiculousness. You know how it is.

"I really need a big, dramatic coat," Lucas observed, as they ran down the hallway of the warehouse. "They're so good for these missions."

So many of their missions involved repossessing an item out of time that shouldn't have been there in the first place, and half the time these involved them being chased. This time it was a small group of aliens called 'Terronites' that really wanted the…what was it again? The tribophysical waveform macro-kinetic extrapolator? Whatever. The item itself looked kind of like a surfboard, and Lucas was tempted to use his telekinesis to ride it. That would be dramatic.

He heard firing and a number of scorch marks appeared on the walls around them. Lucas zipped into a doorway nearby and pulled Jack in with him, telekinesis helping them both along. "They seem more mad than usual," he yelled, finding a flight of stairs and running down them. "Guess that means it's good we've got it."

Who: Sylar and Teen Mohinder.
When: A few months after Mohinder is given powers by his older self's serum.
What: There are always side effects.

It was fine when Mohinder started to sleep in the corner of the room by the ceiling whenever there was exposed duct work or piping in the places that they stayed and Sylar had been amused enough by it (Mohinder took up so much less real estate this way) that he purposefully picked places where Momo Bug (a not so kept to himself nickname) could hang out.  Literally.

It was fine when he started feeling the need to leave weird secretions behind too, when he was worried or scared or dreaming.  It was like a very sticky sort of webbing that earned him a brand new nickname: Spider-Mo.

What Sylar was not fine with was the mood swings and the patent aggression.

He glared up at Spider-Mo now, one leg dangling, book in his hand. The teenager had retreated up there half an hour ago in a massive pouting fit when Sylar told him to stop climbing up the side of the building because he was being so annoyingly obvious and getting them entirely too much unwanted attention.  Any more pouting, though, and Sylar was going to have to murder the kid.

He really didn't want to do that.

So he used his telekinesis to smack his foot and tumble him over the duct he was perched on instead.

Who: Alpha Jack, Omega Gabriel and the gang.
When: A few months after Jack and Gabriel returned home from the Original Timeline
What: Torchwood isn't really baby proofed.

Jack frowned up at the ceiling, exhausted. It was sort of amazing how he could literally be filled with so much of the universe's energy that he couldn't stay dead and yet could feel this way. Of course, no one could blame him for wanting to hide in his office and nap for a little while.

Sasan was playing babysitter. Gabriel was off on a mission with Jim, soon to return home of course, and there were no pressing matters to concern him for once.

Life was good. Tiring but good.

And that was when the alarm went off.

Of course it did.

Who: Sylar and Luke
When: Different time. Different place.
What: Jack hasn't quite gotten to Sylar yet. Parkman erased his memory before he could.

Luke liked Sullivan Bros. His trailer was comfortable. The job was a no brainer. And petty thievery was sort of backhanded encouraged. He remembered well the day Sylar left. He remembered sitting in that diner for two days thinking he might come back. And he remembered a hand held out to him by a guy in too much eyeliner who looked a little like a younger Rod Stewart telling him he was wanted. It would be all right.

So Luke got his act up. He was eighteen years old, a grown man, and he could pop corn in the palm of his hand or pop a fresh bag in someone else's hand after they bought the kernels. He made a lot of money for the bosses.

Samuel took a liking to him, not the same sort of weird liking he took to Edgar or Lydia, but Luke kind of liked it that sometimes he didn't have to sleep in a trailer with two other young guys on the nights where Samuel's favorites weren't always available. He'd calmed down. He didn't try killing anyone. He was happy... Ish. Probably.

And that was why Sylar showed up. Sylar. He didn't know him. He didn't know himself. But that's when the stalking started. He was sure Sylar was hiding something. He had to be.

Who: Sylar and Mohinder.
When: Just as the Hub gets back to normal.
What: Sylar decides that he likes what Mohinder brings to the mix, and since Lucas isn't using his, he takes him.

Mohinder Suresh ran. He ran and he ran and he didn't stop until he could literally not get his legs to move anymore. Collapsing onto the floor, somewhere deep within the Archives, he was fairly certain that he could never get himself out of here and so he waited to be found. He just hoped it wasn't by the Sylar or the Captain Jack that seemed to go...crazy.

Sylar, on the other hand, knew exactly where Mohinder was just by periodically touching the walls. He'd not bothered to shift to come and find him. He just shaved and mussed up his hair and shifted his clothing to be something more Sasan-esque. This wasn't an ability he used often, but it did come in handy right now.

He was an actor by nature these last few years and while he didn't get a good look as Sasan's mannerisms this time around, he'd run into him before and had the voice and the hand movements down. "Mohinder! There you are! Jim and I have been looking everywhere for you! It's all right now." He offered his hand to the boy.

Who: Alpha Jack and Co
When: Sometime during the Jack Switch of 2016
What: It's always weird being in a world of Betas.

Gabriel was doing okay. They didn't exactly have the jacuzzi room here or their nest but the home he'd found for them was comfortable enough. Trying to sink into a second place role to a beta, however, was more difficult than his counterpart was finding, though it wasn't as if that Jack was really looking to Jim for guidance.

Jack had taken up residence in the office. His office. Technically it was Jim's in his Jack's absence but as the only Alpha here, he really could not help himself.

Jim wasn't having the best of time here. This Jack was extremely hard to talk with. He was extremely aggressive. And he kept sniffing him. There was a reason that the blond kept giving himself away missions.

Who: Confused Gabriel and whoever he comes across
When: A few days after all that lockdown business is over with.
What: He really didn't mean to be in this universe, guys.

Gabriel had just gotten on his hoodie and sweatpants and was looking out the window towards Torchwood. It was a very pleasant morning, and now that Gabriel had gone through his whole morning routine he was contemplating trying to tug Jack out of the office for an hour to have lunch. He'd been getting better at prying him away most days, although he had joked with Jack that it was out of fear of mood swings.

He'd just about been ready to leave the lavish apartment when he felt something broken nearby. The feeling intensified, and he followed it down the hall, raising one hand up in suspicion. And then he felt a strong tug.

He fell down, and when he picked himself back up, he was on the landing pad of the Hub. He groaned as he picked himself back up, trying to be extra careful of the paunch his belly had become. "What the hell?" he said, looking around. "Jack?" He'd have to get to Medical for this, definitely.

Who: Jack and the Master

When: After Lockdown

What: Someone demanded? pancakes

Pretty sure that he’d be waking up to WW17 (Earth was busy between the now that they were living in and the now that Jack was born in so Jack defaulted to the latter), Jack was surprised to find out that not much had happened overnight.

Just about everyone on the engineering and IT rosters decided to quit, as expected, so Jack administered Retcon to them all, filled their bank accounts as per their contracts and sent them on their way.  He went immediately to the kitchen to start breakfast while Gabriel went to fiddle with the Doctor’s mind.

Well, maybe fiddle wasn’t the right word, but Gabriel was curious and curious people did things that they shouldn’t from time to time.  He was just plating the first batch of pancakes when the Master strolled in, obviously believing that he owned the place.  Jack greeted him with a hefty: “Good morning, sunshine!”

Who: Sylar (teen version) and Mohinder
When: January 17th
What: Waking up with a taser headache is pretty rough.

One moment, Sylar had been talking to the Valeyard, trying to decide whether he was going to see what he could find in the alien's brain or not. The next moment, he was curled on the ground, hugging himself and feeling groggy.

He groaned in pain and opened his eyes. He was still in the kitchen, but now he was on the floor. No one was in sight. He groaned again, now not worried about taking his time getting up. For the moment, he was just glad to uncurl himself and stretch out.

Today had not gone all that well. He wasn't terribly surprised.

Who: The Broken Doctor and Torchwood
When: During Lockdown
What: Onetwo, Doctor’s coming for you. Threefour, no need to lock the door. Yay sonic screwdrivers!

The Doctor carefully walked along the circuitous, spoke-like halls rapping on the concrete cinderblocks. Tap-tap tap-tap. Tap-tap tap-tap. It was always a comfort to get it out of his system. His dark brown duster brushed the backs of his calves, barely covering the bright orange t-shirt and red braces he had on. Lime green trainers took his feet dancing in the same way, heel-toe heel-toe, heel-toe heel-toe.

Jumping down a flight of metal stairs, the Doctor slipped his screwdriver back into his pocket. He had already rounded up Engineering. The technicians were all safely herded into the storage room with the broken equipment no one ever got rid of for whatever reason.

He had a list ticked off of everyone taken care of but this was a big place and there were a lot of unaccounted for check marks. It was only a matter of time before he ran into someone of interest.

Who: Murder Kids
When: January 15th
What: Lockdown at the Hub but some people just don't know how to play by the rules.

The fourth day of lockdown was no different from the third or the second other than a growing sense of boredom.  Most of the engineering and IT folk were still working at the Rift core in an attempt to find the intrusion.  It shouldn't have taken that long, and that's what bothered Jack the most was the morale of his people.

Many were fine, even with being cut off from the Archive and their work.  Some, however, were not.  Gabriel and Jim were the worst culprits there, pacing at times, running up and down the catwalks...

It was driving him crazy.

There were also a lot of their people gone, various agents on various missions.  That they couldn't get back was worrying too.  At least they did happen to have power.  Otherwise, by now they would have a very dead prisoner.  Jack really hated that.

But what he hated the most?  People able to bypass all of his precautions and get into the Hub without any of the security systems in place to let him know.

Who: Jim and Sasan
When: January 11th
What: Kilgrave isn't their only problem.

Jim never minded when Sasan texted him relentlessly. Okay, Jim usually didn't mind when Sasan texted him relentlessly but he had been in a meeting with Jack trying to sort out their pending missions in the queue. Some could be put on the back burner while they dealt with Kilgrave, but some were pretty time sensitive. And yes, that joke did grow old when it came to a Time Agency, thank you.

The blond was wishing he'd never introduced Sasan to an iPhone as his own vibrated again. Jack actually paused mid sentence and glanced at him with an eyebrow raised. "Do you need to get that?"

Jim shook his head. Sasan could wait for ten minutes. And Jim didn't need to see any more pictures of fat animals wearing clothing or doing silly things.

Not unless he was drinking and Sasan was over and sending the YouTube videos to his AppleTV, thereby forcing him to watch.

It took half an hour more to finish cementing down the schedule. Gabriel was to stay with Jack at the Hub whenever possible which meant that Jim and Mitchell were on point. Mitchell might not have to sleep but Jim certainly did. He left the office quickly and pulled the phone from his jeans. As expected, all of his texts were from Sasan.

Who: Torchwood + Killgrave
When: January 10th
What: The gang meets a different sort of pheromone driven asshole

They'd been engaged for a few weeks now, but Mohinder had not grown tired of it in the slightest. His face actually hurt from the sheer around of grinning he had been doing and luckily, he was well liked enough not to have everyone at work hating his guts for being on the level of a Disney princess with the way he kept humming or sighing and staring off into the distance.

Gabriel had been off on some sort of mission with Jim, which he knew ended up tiring them both out since neither really got on, and as always when he knew that his fiancé could return at any moment and the vortex opening klaxon went off, Mohinder wrapped up what he was doing, removed his gloves, and went to go and hopefully greet Gabriel immediately after his return. He'd done the same twice today already, though the first time had been the return of Mitchell and Henry and the second was a false alarm.

Those false alarms had been happening a lot recently. Jack said that the Rift was acting up, opening vortexes for a split second in multiple realities when one of their agents did so to return home. He said that there was nothing to worry about, that the false alarms couldn't possibly remain open long enough for anyone or thing to come through.

So far, he'd been right.

But as Mohinder came to lean over the railing of the catwalk overlooking the return platform, he couldn't help but frown. He didn't recognize the person that was standing there. Technically, that was very possible. Sometime the manipulators didn't get the time just right. This could be an agent from the past or future. They tended to right themselves out pretty quickly. "Hello?"
