"if you rip him apart, you'll lose him," Jack said, not bothering to clarify the pronouns this time because Gabriel would know. "I have heard him refer to Sylar as a different man entirely. I'm not saying that's healthy and I don't know everything you two have been through, but he loves you enough to want to help people that may be like Sylar. He believes that they have a second chance in them, like you did. He's a better man that I'm ever going to be and probably you will too."

Jack gave strange pep talks.
