"I think that, perhaps, we've both earned a bit of time off for good behaviour," Mohinder said, turning left inside of right so that they were headed towards the exit. John could get the sample for him whenever he liked but that didn't mean that Mohinder needed to focus all of his attention on it straight away.

They needed some alone time to mend themselves. Gabriel's apology had gone a long, long way to helping that but Mohinder was a creature of habit, a man who enjoyed and craved touching and to be touched.

"Perhaps we ought to have Jack over for dinner some night soon. As a thanks." Mohinder did not need to be Gabriel's sole keeper. That he was growing to have friends here, to trust other people again, it made Mohinder so happy. He held tightly onto Gabriel's hand, his eyes for the American alone.

Not many people could claim to have that sort of relationship and Jim found it very sobering to see the two together, even from one of the upper level catwalks.
