"Why would the kids need a change of clothing?" came the mused response as Jim paused slightly at a corner to be sure no one was going to run into them. He was about to ask something else about what clothing Sasan would even want to hand over to a pair of teenagers and risk their destruction when the hemming and hawing started.

Sasan was never like this. Jim had never once heard the other give false starts at all since they had met. Sure. It was only a few months but it felt like it could be a lifetime.

Concern crossed over his face before that concern turned to surprise. He knew Sasan was forward (he'd practically jumped Mohinder within the hour of meeting him) but this was unexpected. But what a silly thing to be surprised about considering all of their time together....

His mind was racing.

"Are you.... Suggesting.... Wait, Sasan--". Jim gently took his shoulder to push him around to face him. "Are you asking me out?"
