He'd been here long enough that he'd entirely forgotten that all his IDs were fake. As Mohinder pointed out the issue, he couldn't hold back the chuckle. And- yeah, well. Sasan wouldn't be pleased, but Gabriel figured that was a little less important. "We can't get married legally here, anyway. How about we go and do it? We could right now, and then have a party with a little ceremony back here. Sasan can be the officiant, if he really needs to live vicariously through our wedding."

They'd talked about it, they'd made plans, but never had it felt more concrete than now. "The courthouse would be open in New York now, you know," he said, turning to catch Mohinder's lips for a brief kiss. They never did anything routinely- why should this be any different? The only thing he wasn't sure of... Gabriel looked up, pulling back a couple inches to get a good look at Mohinder's expression. "Would that work for you?"

Because if Mohinder really had his heart set on doing this a certain way, Gabriel was sure not going to push him in another direction. They'd been through so much- he wanted this to be as good for Mohinder as he could make it.
