Gabriel's somewhat hidden smile turned into a full-on grin when he saw Jack run onto the scene. "How -?" he asked, as he took the pen from the man. "I don't think I've ever been more ready."
The clerk gave them all a polite smile and gestured to their right. "There should be an open Matrimony Room down that way. You'll have up to a half hour, if you want it. Make sure you flip the sign on the door so you won't be interrupted."
She clearly didn't want them to take the time to do this in front of her desk, and that was fine. Gabriel thanked her and tugged Mohinder hand-in-hand to one of these rooms she was talking about. Finding an open one was easy and the interior held a podium, warm peach walls, and a couple of large windows. It was nicer than he expected. And more private.
Gabriel tried to take both of Mohinder's hands in his own, but one was still holding a pen. With a glance over to the form, he chuckled, and leaned forward to kiss Mohinder on the cheek. "Let's sign this thing." They could do any of the other symbolic stuff after that. And then Gabriel would have his hands free to hug Mohinder for approximately forever.
It wasn't that he wasn't curious about Jack's sudden appearance. He'd probably ask more seriously later how he knew to be here. But for once, Jack's fantastical self was taking a full backseat to everything else that was happening now.
