Most of the people gathered had likely never seen this side of Gabriel. He always through out a tough guy persona to everyone except perhaps Jack. Mohinder, however, had seen him at his worst and even despite his initial better judgement (which was always questionable when it came to Mohinder), he'd offered him the helping hand he needed to get his life back on track.
The weight of the ring on his finger, so different from the engagement ring, left Mohinder's eyes liquid and about to overflow. He'd heard Gabriel tell him these things before, when they were lying naked and sweaty against Crimson sheets, when they were about to be killed, or after a nice brunch on their day off. They always moved Mohinder, but never quite like this.
This was breathtaking.
And Mohinder had some words to say back, though the initial five minutes, a long time to listen to vows that ought to last one fifth that, happened to be a lecture about the electrical and chemical impulses that categorized the feeling of love.
It was enough to put most people to sleep, even little Ginny in her mother's arms.
"I suppose, in conclusion, it's simply improbable that I find you and that this is how far we've come. I've met many versions of us, but our love, yours and mine and only ours, is unique in the universe." Mohinder was pretty sure that Sasan was wailing right now, which made him grin a little wickedly and finish his vows in Hindi. Whatever it was he said, likely, only Jack and Sherlock had any idea. And they weren't talking.
