Gabriel blinked as he finally realized the amount of people that had come with Jack. He'd seen Lucas behind him, but not practically half of Torchwood. Sasan was half-glaring, but he couldn't keep it up with the marriage being imminent, so it seemed more like the pout of a five-year-old. Between that, and the goofy grin of Lucas, the way the Jims were already working on differentiating themselves and Henry was trying to hide behind his camera already.
But as Jack started talking, Gabriel's attention snapped right back to Mohinder. His soon-to-be husband could easily see the tears that stung at Gabriel's eyes as their boss and minister talked about making it official. It felt real, and it was hard to believe that this was actually happening. Out of so many things in his life that were washed out or full-out lies, nothing with Mohinder felt that way.
As their new small crowd cheered behind them, Gabriel signed his name on the dotted line and handed the pen over to Mohinder. "I never thought I could have this," he murmured quietly, only for Mohinder (and perhaps Jack) to hear. "You really have given me the impossible."
