Who: Gabriel and Mohinder (Original)
When: After Sylar let Mohinder live. It was a big deal.
What: Putting off the wedding thing isn't good for anyone.
No one was dead. No one. Not a single person. The Sylar that had proven that he was invincible and more powerful than any other creature in the universe had dropped by to say hello, roll his eyes, flex his telekinetic muscles, and then didn't kill anyone. That was more miracle than Mohinder was really willing to let himself believe in, but it had happened and was on the security footage. Jack made them all watch it twice. Probably for punishment. And also to keep any of the Gabriels or former Gabriels from getting any big ideas about relatiation.
Four days passed from their near death experience. Mitchell and Henry had been brought back home, one traumatized inwardly and the other locked away. Most of Norfinbury had been tucked away. Some where put where they could be forgotten about. Some were given class-A amnesiacs and put back into society in this particular port in the space-time Storm. It would take many weeks and months to find places for the rest of them though Fred and Kaylee were working tirelessly to do just that.
Gabriel's clone was one of the only casualties from that world to have been sent off to try his hand at living a life with too many memories of loves lost and powers had to try and find love again. And now that he was gone and Mohinder could stop the guilt he felt being around him, he thought he would broach the subject of the wedding.
He brought Gabriel a glass of red wine as if they were Sasan-level classy and joined in on the couch just recently vacated by the double of the person sitting with him. He brought him a binder that he and Sasan had been putting together too, a sort of idea book.
"Sasan says that people still do this without Pintrest," Mohinder said. "And I would like to trade up to a wedding band."

Which went all the way back to Jack who had to get them out of the Hub and back to New York at precisely the right time not to kiss the marriage.
It was all very tricky stuff, considering they were now currently a day in their past and would have to stay on here lest they come into contact with their own timelines. That always went so poorly.
Jack had the whole group sit in the beautifully provided seating and motioned for Lucas to set the occupany sign before he took to the pulpit.
"I've presided over nearly a thousand weddings but it never gets old." Jack looked out between Gabriel and Mohinder at the Jims and Sasan, at Lucas and Fred and Henry, Sherlock and John, at the Alpha Jack and his young family... And at the people that couldn't be here like JC and Mitchell and some of the people from Norfinbury that would be staying on with them... And even Luke and Ianto, long dead and gone from their circle.
And then he looked at Gabriel and Mohinder, who only seemed to have eyes for each other. And that was how it should be.
"There's no reason to say any words. But as they sign their certificate I want everyone here to just feel the love of the impossible. Because nothing, nothing, is ever truly impossible. Most of us here are living proof of that. So let's make it finally official guys!"

But as Jack started talking, Gabriel's attention snapped right back to Mohinder. His soon-to-be husband could easily see the tears that stung at Gabriel's eyes as their boss and minister talked about making it official. It felt real, and it was hard to believe that this was actually happening. Out of so many things in his life that were washed out or full-out lies, nothing with Mohinder felt that way.
As their new small crowd cheered behind them, Gabriel signed his name on the dotted line and handed the pen over to Mohinder. "I never thought I could have this," he murmured quietly, only for Mohinder (and perhaps Jack) to hear. "You really have given me the impossible."

"Too late," John called, sending a soft laugh through those gathered before the cheering interrupted. Mohinder had no idea what was going on around them.
His world was Gabriel's. And Ganriel's was his. It was as it should be.
"Oh my gosh you two, break it up," Jack said with a laugh and pushed a ring box into each of their hands. "Signatures are great but you should have some bling to go with it!" It was the most unorthodox of weddings.
Ti glanced over at Sasan and lightly took his hand. "Stop pouting."
"You'll throw the best after party," Jim agreed.

The other-universe Gabriel watched from the back with his own bondmate and their daughter. He kept turning his attention to Izzy, but she was surprisingly quiet, seemingly happy to have both of them right there and not moving. When he looked up towards the podium, his gaze was fond, and only slightly wistful. He leaned his shoulder against Jack's and pressed a warm kiss to his cheek. It seems both versions of him had found their happiness.
Gabriel laughed when Jack brought up 'bling', finally looking away from Mohinder's face. He took one box and opened it carefully, and once he had Mohinder's ring, he looked out on the crowd and gestured for them to quiet down. He was going to say something.
"Mohinder, you have saved my life more times than I can count. And- not only that, you taught me how to truly live. How to be something better than what I'd resigned myself to. And that there was a place for me on this world, somewhere and someone I belonged with. Now that I've found it, I'm never, ever going to leave it." Damn, he was tearing up again. He tried to blink away the tears as he gently rose Mohinder's left hand, readying the ring. "You've saved my heart and my soul. I hope I can give you even a fraction of what you've already given me." And with that, he slipped the ring on.

The weight of the ring on his finger, so different from the engagement ring, left Mohinder's eyes liquid and about to overflow. He'd heard Gabriel tell him these things before, when they were lying naked and sweaty against Crimson sheets, when they were about to be killed, or after a nice brunch on their day off. They always moved Mohinder, but never quite like this.
This was breathtaking.
And Mohinder had some words to say back, though the initial five minutes, a long time to listen to vows that ought to last one fifth that, happened to be a lecture about the electrical and chemical impulses that categorized the feeling of love.
It was enough to put most people to sleep, even little Ginny in her mother's arms.
"I suppose, in conclusion, it's simply improbable that I find you and that this is how far we've come. I've met many versions of us, but our love, yours and mine and only ours, is unique in the universe." Mohinder was pretty sure that Sasan was wailing right now, which made him grin a little wickedly and finish his vows in Hindi. Whatever it was he said, likely, only Jack and Sherlock had any idea. And they weren't talking.

Everyone else might have started dozing off, but Gabriel always, always loved Mohinder's lectures, and this one was possibly his best. He was clearly enraptured by the entire discussion. It was only when he heard Mohinder say 'in conclusion' that he realized his now-husband had been talking for quite awhile. His lips quirked into a slight smirk- leave it to Mohinder to give his vows that way. It was perfect.
He couldn't help himself. After Mohinder finished his vows in Hindi, he leaned forward for another kiss, soft and sweet but clearly wanting to be longer than it was. Mohinder was right- this was something just for them, and it would always be that way.
Sasan was, in fact, the one that was loudly crying in the background. All the emotion was just too much for him, although he rationalized it as someone needing to make some noise here. He was somewhat drowned out by the others clapping as Mohinder was kissed again. Gabriel was at the point where he'd actually lost his words- another unusual treat for everyone in the room. He grinned at Mohinder and squeezed his hand, wondering if he could just never let go.
"Kiss him again!" called the Gabriel from the back, an amused tone in his voice, and that was something the new husband would easily oblige. This kiss was clearly going to last until they were pulled off of each other.
